Panchayat is a drama web series on Amazon Prime Video where the lead character Abhishek is an engineer who joins the Jeneral Secretary job in Phulera village, Uttar Pradesh. He has a lack of job options and he is doing this job and has a desire to clear the CAT exam. Phulera is a remote village in UP and it is hard for him to live life in that place. He is used to living in the city so he struggles in starting. The first season of Panchayat was released in 2020 on Amazon Prime Video and received positive reviews that encouraged the team to make the next season.
